The name of the person trying to take Rza Cafarov, goalkeeper of the Azerbaijan national team and Neftchi, to Romania's Dinamo club has been revealed.
Idman.biz, citing Sport24.az, reports that Mihai Nădăban, the former coach of the Baku team, wants to see the 22-year-old goalkeeper at the Bucharest club.
He is currently working as a coach at this club.
Although Dinamo’s first offer for the goalkeeper was rejected by Neftchi, the club plans to make another approach regarding Cafarov.
Mihai Nădăban was previously assistant to Adrian Mutu, who was head coach at Neftchi. The goalkeeper coach worked at Neftchi from July 2023 until the end of the year.
