Swimming competitions are ongoing at the Universiade held in Germany’s Rhine-Ruhr region.
According to correspondent of Idman.biz sent to Germany, three Azerbaijani athletes competed in swimming events today.
Ramil Valizada and Abdurrahman Rustamov took part in the 200-meter butterfly event. However, both athletes failed to advance past the qualification round and did not reach the semifinals. Valizada placed 22nd, while Rustamov finished 26th.
Said Hamidov competed in the 200-meter backstroke and placed 34th.
