On the second day of the Universiade hosted by Germany, four Azerbaijani swimmers competed.
According to correspondent of Idman.biz dispatched to the event, Fatima Alkaramova, Nihad Yusibov, Rashad Alguliyev, and Said Hamidov took part in the swimming competitions held in Berlin today.
Alkaramova finished 17th among 23 athletes in the 400m individual medley with a time of 5:06.98. In the Universiade's 100m backstroke event, Alguliyev (58.79) placed 33rd, while Yusibov (1:02.55) came in 37th. Hamidov completed the 200m individual medley in 2:07.91, beating his personal record of 2:08.22.
The Universiade will conclude on July 27.
