The swimming tournament among state institutions has been concluded.
Idman.biz reports that 72 participants from 21 institutions competed for the title of winner in the competition organized in the Baku AquaticsPalace.
In the men's 50 m freestyle swimming competition, Emil Ibrahimov (MIA) was the strongest. Among the women, Nargiz Nasirova (MIA) reached the finish line the fastest.
In the women's 50 m relay race, MIA was 1st and SOCAR was 2nd. Among men, the first 2 places in the same distance did not change, and the third place was taken by MES.
The winner of the mixed relay race was the MIA. SOCAR won the silver medal, and Caspian Sea Shipping won the bronze medal.
The winners were awarded with diplomas and medals of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The awards were presented by the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, Deputy Minister Mariana Vasileva, Head of the Ministry's Sports Department Elnur Mammadov, President of the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation Khanlar Fatiyev and Chairman of the Sports Society of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Mevlud Miraliyev.
It should be noted that from now on it is planned to hold about 30 competitions among state institutions. The main purpose of the swimming tournament is to promote and attract healthy life among people.
