The Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation (ASF), Ogtay Atayev, and the international relations manager, Tamerlan Huseynov, held a meeting in Bucharest with Camelia Alina Potec, the president of the Romania Swimming and Modern Pentathlon Federation, and Silviu Anastase, the head coach of Romania's national swimming team.
The meeting focused on discussing various areas of activity, goals, and objectives of the federations, as well as plans for marketing and sponsorship, Idman.biz reports.
Additionally, the meeting included discussions on potential partnership opportunities and future development directions for both federations.
Last month in Baku, ASF President Zaur Aliyev met with Antonio Silva, the president of the European Aquatics Federation, and the Secretary General Oqtay Atayev also held meetings with Erkan Yalçın, the president of the Turkish Swimming Federation, and Seckin Renklibay, the Secretary General, in Ankara.
Erkan Yalcin is also the vice president of the European Aquatics Federation, while Camelia Alina Potec is a bureau member.
