The World Para Swimming Series has officially kicked off today in Paris, France.
Azerbaijani athletes Ali Valiyev and Konul Suleymanova have also begun their campaigns, Idman.biz reports.
Ali Valiyev competed in the 100-meter freestyle event in the men’s S10 category. He completed the qualification stage with a time of 1 minute 1.58 seconds, securing a spot in the final.
Konul Suleymanova participated in the 50-meter backstroke event in the S4 category. She performed well in the heats and earned a place in the final.
