Azerbaijani rower Alimurad Hajizada has won a gold medal at the International President Cup 2025 Regatta, dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s birth.
Idman.biz, via AZERTAC, reports that the 2009-born athlete clinched victory in the men’s single kayak 1000-meter race at the Kur Olympic Training and Sports Center in Mingachevir.
So far, Azerbaijani rowers have collected a total of eight medals at the tournament — three silver and five bronze. The regatta will conclude today.
