The international Mingachevir Regatta 2026 will get underway in Fuzuli today.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the tournament, jointly organised by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Aquatic Sports Federation (ASINF), will be held from September 29 to October 1.
The opening stage will take place at the Kondalan reservoir in Fuzuli, where athletes will compete in 200-metre kayak and canoe events.
The competition will then move to Mingachevir. On September 30 and October 1, athletes will compete across all disciplines and distances at the Kur Olympic Training and Sports Centre.
More than 100 young rowers will take part in the international tournament. Along with hosts Azerbaijan, the competition will feature athletes from the Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Tajikistan, Türkiye, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
