Diana Dymchenko, a member of Azerbaijan's academic rowing team, competed in the traditional "Silver Skiff" International Regatta organized in Turin, Italy.
Idman.biz reports that more than 700 athletes from 30 countries in different age categories took part in the competition organized for the 32nd time.
The rowers covered a distance of 11 kilometers in the one-stage regatta. Diana, who performed in a one-person academic rowing boat, finished the distance in 44 minutes and 54 seconds and reached the finish line second and won the silver medal.
It should be noted that the "Silver Skiff" Regatta, organized since 1992, is considered one of the most prestigious competitions of the academic rowing sport.
It should be noted that Diana Dymchenko won a silver medal in last year's competition.
