On the first 2 days of the "Mingachevir Regatta-2023" International Tournament organized jointly by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation, an awarding ceremony was held.
Idman.biz informs that the medals were presented by Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, President of Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation Vugar Ahmadov, Head of Mingechevir City Executive Authority Ilham Ismayilov, President of Türkiye Canoe Federation Alper Cavit Kabakci, President of Türkiye Rowing Federation Arhan Arturk, ACRF General Secretary Farhad Aliyev presented.
The tournament will be concluded today. On the last day of the regatta, competitions in 3 age groups are held.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan national team won 16 medals in the first 2 days. The athletes won 5 gold, 5 silver and 6 bronze awards.
