Azerbaijani canoeist Tatyana Smilovenko has completed her final 200m race at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Poznan, Poland.
As reported by İdman.Biz, according to our correspondent covering the competition in Poland, Smilovenko competed in the semifinal and finished seventh with a time of 49.17 seconds.
The Azerbaijani athlete missed out on a place in the B final by just 0.02 seconds.
Athletes finishing fourth to sixth in each semifinal qualify for the B final, while the top three canoeists from each semifinal advance to the main final.
Smilovenko will return to action later today in the 500m B final, where she will compete for places 10 to 18 in the overall standings.
