Azerbaijani rower Diana Dymchenko won the title of European champion.
Idman.biz reports that she achieved this success at the continental championship in coastal rowing and beach sprint held in Gdansk, Poland.
The leader of the team reached the finish line first in the qualification stage with a single boat and advanced to the A final. Dymchenko, who fought in the 5th place in the decisive stage, surpassed the Irish Dukarska Monika and the Finnish Karpinen Eava, and rose to the first step of the podium.
Murad Sadygov - Bogdan Gladchenko, members of the Baku Rowing and Canoe Sports (BRCS) club, competed in the A final in the two-person boat. In the final, our athletes took the 6th place.
