He commented on the fact that our women's 3x3 team defeated the last Olympic champion USA at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games with a score of 20:17. According to Poladkhanli, the continuation of the victory will come: "I am very well aware of the potential of Azerbaijan. In the first match, when we lost to Spain, the excitement was palpable, and that's normal. In yesterday's meeting, we played comfortable basketball and eventually managed to defeat the Americans. It won't be easy for us today as France is the host and Germany also beat the USA in the first game. I think that both games will be played in intense competition. Our girls are capable of defeating both opponents."
Poladkhanli also announced his prediction for the team: "I will not be surprised if our team wins a medal at the Olympic Games. I believe that we will take place in the top 3".
Today Azerbaijan will play France at 14:30 and Germany at 20:30.
