The flag bearers of the Azerbaijan national team at the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games have been announced.
As Idman.biz reports, Togrul Rahimov, Secretary General of the National Paralympic Committee, announced this.
At the press conference organized at the Azerbaijan Sports Academy in connection with the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games, he noted that the Azerbaijan national team will participate in 7 sports for the first time in history. The official of the institution said that world and European champions Imamaddin Khalilov and Lamiya Valiyeva will be the flag bearers at the opening ceremony.
The Paralympics will be held from August 28 to September 8. Imameddin will perform in Para taekwondo and Lamiya in Para athletics competitions.
