Idman.biz reports that in the main fight of the night, the WBC, IBF and WBO light heavyweight (79.4 kg) World Champion Artur Beterbiev (19-0, 19 KOs) from Russia faced British Callum Smith (29-1, 21 KOs).
The match ended with Beterbiev winning by knockout in the seventh round. Artur knocked down his opponent two times in a row in a few seconds, after which the trainers of the British had to throw a white towel in the ring.
During his professional career, Beterbiev had 20 fights, winning by knockout in each of these matches. Smith left the ring victorious 29 times and lost twice.
Before this meeting, the other Russian Imam Khatayev met the Polish representative Michal Ludwiczak and won by knockout in the second round.
