Multiple-time Azerbaijani champion and national professional belt holder Zohrab Azimov has claimed a stunning knockout victory at the international “Muay-Thai EAGLE RISES” event held on Samui Island, Thailand.
The two-time WAKO European champion and medalist at world championships, competing in the 70 kg weight class, faced off against local fighter Petç Kaolan, Idman.biz reports.
Azimov delivered a decisive performance, defeating his opponent via knockout in the 2nd round.
Notably, he had been preparing for this bout over the past month at Super Pro training camp on Samui Island, alongside Bahram Rajabzade, member of the Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation national team, Islamic Solidarity Games champion, and a world and European medalist.
