Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov made these remarks to journalists following the award ceremony of the Swimming for All tournament among Turkic states, Idman.biz reports.
The Minister highlighted the significance of the event: “This is part of our ongoing series of mass sporting events. We are organizing this tournament for the second time. As you can see, competitions are being held for both men and women. What pleases us most is that each year, the number of pools and participants continues to grow. This is a clear sign that we are on the right path. We will continue to support and expand such initiatives moving forward.”
The project aims to promote swimming as a popular sport, encourage a healthy lifestyle, and strengthen ties of friendship among participating countries.
