Conqueror of the Peaks - Vafa Musayeva

Azerbaijani mountaineer Vafa Musayeva has conquered yet another peak.

The Azerbaijani athlete has climbed the Lhotse mountain summit, which is 8,516 meters high.

Two days earlier, the mountaineer conquered Everest and descended to a camp located at an altitude of 7,900–8,000 meters. However, deciding to conquer a second peak, Vafa climbed Lhotse this time. Thus, Musayeva has conquered a height above 8,000 meters twice within three days. Currently, the athlete is at the base camp and has spent more than four days above 8,000 meters.

After conquering the second peak, Musayeva shared her thoughts on social media:
“Mission accomplished. I am safe. I just returned to the Everest base camp. Thank you for the congratulations. Hopefully, I will soon get home and eat tandir bread with dovga.”

Lhotse is the fourth highest peak on the planet and is located three kilometers from Everest.
