A documentary about Azerbaijani mountaineer Vafa Musayeva, titled "I Turned Zero into One," is now being screened.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the film follows Musayeva's love for the mountains, her journey as a climber, and her ascent of Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world.
The documentary has been included in the program of the DokuBaku International Documentary Film Festival.
The film was directed and written by Rustam Babazade, with Natiq Sadikhov as cinematographer, Ulvi Babayev as editor, and Ali-Sattar Guliyev as producer.
Beyond celebrating Musayeva's sporting achievement, the documentary also explores the years of preparation, personal choices, and deep connection to the mountains that made the milestone possible.
In May 2025, Vafa Musayeva became the first Azerbaijani woman to reach the summit of Mount Everest, securing her place in the country's sporting history.
