On May 31, the inaugural Full-Contact Kyokushin Karate World Championship kicks off in Tokyo, Japan.
Azerbaijan will be represented by two athletes at this two-day event, Idman.biz reports.
The competition will take place at the Tokyo Ariake Arena, where Balaami Ahmadov (60 kg) and Aligismat Hasanov (70 kg) will compete.
Additionally, internationally certified referee Mubariz Malikov will be part of the officiating team at the championship.
