A media tour of the new administrative building of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (AJF) was organized.
An Idman.biz employee also participated in the tour initiated by AJF.
The media representatives got acquainted with the administrative building and training areas, watched the exercises of the judokas, exchanged ideas with the general secretary of AJF, Rashad Rasullu, coaches and doctors.
Information was provided about the activity of the sports facility, planned works and projects.
Rasullu said that all conditions for effective work have been created in the administrative building: "There are several gyms in the center. The sports facility with a total area of 2.2 hectares has all the necessary infrastructure. During the overhaul, the artificial grass cover of the 96-meter-long and 72-meter-wide stadium of the Training Center was also changed. Also, the stadium is equipped with a modern lighting system. Here, 100 athletes will be able to train at the same time in the training hall intended for men and young boys. All training halls in the center are equipped with tatami mats that meet the standards of the International Judo Federation. The physical training hall of the sports facility also meets the highest standards. All conditions for productive activity have been created in the coaches' rooms."

One of the factors that increase the importance of the Training Center is the creation of a modern hotel unit with 28 beds. The hotel has all kinds of facilities for the stay and recreation of both athletes and coaches.
Every condition has been created in the main building for more than 50 employees who will work in the center. Athletes will be served at a high level in the restaurant here. The health of athletes was also taken into account in the complex. The doctor's room, physiotherapy and massage rooms are equipped with the necessary devices and equipment for the initial rehabilitation and treatment of athletes.
In the yard of the sports facility, extensive landscaping and construction works have been carried out, greenery has been planted.
It should be noted that improving judo infrastructure in the regions is one of the main activities of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation. In 2023, judo halls were put into use in Ganja, Aghstafa, Zagatala, Goranboy, Aghali village of Zangilan district, Sabirabad, Zira and Sumgayit. Judo halls are being renovated in several cities and regions of our republic.
