Azerbaijan will be represented at an international hockey tournament for the first time.
The Ojag Sport Club's team, consisting of players born between 2013 and 2015, will participate in the international competition, Galaxy Cup, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Idman.biz reports.
The team will travel with 10 hockey players, marking Azerbaijan's first-ever international tournament for youth age groups. This is a significant step for the development of the sport in the country.
Before the tournament, Ojag Sport will hold an open practice session. The training will take place on May 6 at the Ice Arena of the Heydar Aliyev Sports and Concert Complex, starting at 17:30 and lasting until 19:00.
