Nurlana Mammadzada, general secretary of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, told Idman.biz.
She noted that more competitions are held in different regions, as a clear example of this, the National Championship that started today in Guba.
Mammadzada said that the number of rhythmic gymnastics divisions in the regions is increasing: "The Federation previously held tournaments in the regions - Gusar, Sheki, Mingechevir, and last month an international tournament was organized in Nakhchivan. In addition, the number of rhythmic gymnastics sections in the regions is increasing, which indicates the interest in this type. We plan to hold more championships in different regions of the country."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Championship in Rhythmic Gymnastics, which started today in Guba, will be concluded tomorrow.
