The exercises were started with the participation of artistic gymnasts representing Ojag Sports Club, Specialized Children-Youth Gymnastics School of Olympic Reserves (BGM), Republican Complex Sports School and Baku Aquatics Palace.
Idman.biz informs that the main goal of the preparations that will last until February 3 at the National Gymnastics Arena is to develop gymnastics and strengthen the training of athletes.
Rhythmic gymnastics coach Nazrin Jafarzade said that 70 gymnasts born in 2009-2016 from 4 clubs participate in the training camp: "Gymnasts work on general and special physical training and technical preparation of the instrument during training. In addition, the athletes also take choreography lessons here."
Choreographer Malik Hasanov said that the goal of the 7-day exercises is for the gymnasts performing in various clubs to master the level of preparation at the national level: "Currently, we conduct various classes to strengthen the hand and foot movements of the gymnasts. We work with them mainly on the elements."
