Technical defeat was given to Azerbaijan by UEFA.
This was announced by the press service of the Azerbaijan Futsal Federation, Idman.biz reports.
The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Committee made this decision. The institution canceled the result of the Azerbaijan-Romania game held on December 15. By the decision of the committee, in the match that ended with a score of 5:5, the Azerbaijan national team was given a technical defeat - 0:5.
This was caused by violation of the UEFA Disciplinary Rules during the game. In group A, where Azerbaijan is located, this sanction was applied twice against the Romanian national team before our national team.
It should be noted that the results of the Romania-Netherlands and Netherlands-Romania games of our group were cancelled, "Oranges" won 5:0 in both matches.
