Ukrainian central defender Ilya Zabarnyi has transferred from Bournemouth to PSG for 67 million euros, including bonuses.
The 22-year-old player has signed a contract with the Paris club until 2030, Idman.biz reports.
However, he will not be included in PSG’s squad for the UEFA Super Cup match against Tottenham.
Joao Neves, who is suspended, will also not play in this match.
Goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, whose departure is currently being discussed, was not included in PSG’s squad list. The team’s new goalkeeper, Lucas Chevalier, will be taken to the game and will likely start. Russian player Matvey Safonov, who is included in the squad, will remain on the bench.
The UEFA Super Cup match between PSG and Tottenham will take place on August 13 in Udine, Italy, starting at 23:00 Baku time.
