The future of national team striker Ramil Sheydayev at Neftchi will be clarified in the coming days.
Idman.biz, citing Sportinfo.az, reports that the 28-year-old forward has not yet received a new offer, but one is expected. The Baku club is ready to part ways with the forward, who has worn the Neftchi shirt since last summer, either on loan or permanently.
The capital side is not planning to profit from the possible sale of the national team player. As long as there is a real offer, they are ready to hold talks and agree on terms.
Sheydayev took part in the team’s training camp in Poland and even scored in a friendly match. However, Samir Abasov does not see him in the starting lineup.
The head coach also emphasized this in the report he presented to the management, concluding that Ramil does not fit into his tactical plans.
