The current condition of PFL President Elkhan Samadov, who was involved in a car accident on the road towards the city of Khankendi, has been disclosed.
PFL's Media and Marketing Director Sanan Abdullayev provided the update to Report news agency, Idman.biz reports.
He stated that Samadov's treatment is ongoing: "The doctors have advised continuing physiotherapy without interruption. Based on the results, they will soon determine the timing of the surgery. The doctors say everything is progressing positively according to their recommendations."
The incident occurred on December 16, 2023, on the Yevlakh-Agdam-Lachin road passing through the Agdam district. A "Mercedes Vito" vehicle driven by Rasim Gafarli, a resident of Baku, lost control while moving towards Khankendi city and crashed into a road sign. As a result, PFL President Elkhan Samadov, Vice President Aslan Shahgaldiyev, Executive Director Zaur Haji-Maharramov, Media and Marketing Director Sanan Abdullayev, Technical-Sports Director Elgiz Abbasov, and driver Rasim Gafarli sustained various degrees of bodily injuries.
Following the incident, Elkhan Samadov has undergone several surgeries.
