Neftchi wants to strengthen its squad with a new striker.
Idman.biz, citing Sport24.az, reports that has identified one of the forwards the “Neftchi” are interested in.
It is Mouhamed Belkheir, who currently plays for Belgian side La Louviere.
The 26-year-old forward, who holds both French and Algerian citizenship, is also being monitored by several other clubs. Therefore, Neftchi’s chances of completing the transfer are decreasing, as Saudi club Al-Riyadh is reportedly ready to pay €1.5 million for the player.
Mouhamed Belkheir has been playing for the Belgian club since 2024.
