Transfermarkt has updated its ranking of the most valuable football clubs in the world based on the total market value of their squads.
According to Idman.Biz, the list is led by Real Madrid, whose squad is valued at €1.38 billion (2.35 billion manats). Second place is occupied by London club Arsenal with a total valuation of €1.29 billion (2.2 billion manats).
Third position is shared by two clubs, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, each with squad values estimated at €1.19 billion (2.02 billion manats). Chelsea and Barcelona also feature in the top six of the ranking.
Special attention is drawn to Nottingham Forest. Despite sitting 17th in the current Premier League standings, the club ranks 13th in the Transfermarkt list with a total squad value of €620 million (1.05 billion manats).
