Argentine superstar Lionel Messi will attend the unveiling of a giant 21-meter monument in India, which will take place as part of his GOAT Tour.
As reported by Idman.Biz via Tribuna.com, the tour begins on December 13. On that day, Messi will arrive in Kolkata, where the official opening ceremony of the massive monument will be held.
Even from the first images, it is clear that a tremendous amount of work went into creating the statue. Standing 21 meters tall, it will become the tallest monument dedicated to a footballer anywhere in the world.
During the ceremony, Messi will cut the symbolic ribbon, after which the final depiction of his face on the monument will be fully revealed.
The GOAT Tour is described as Messi’s official three-day program in India, which includes fan events, special activities, and the unveiling of the monument.
