The Azerbaijani national team has finalized its 23-man squad for today’s World Cup 2026 qualifying match against France.
Idman.Biz, citing sport24.az, reports that head coach Aykhan Abbasov decided not to include three players for the game.
Abbasov will not field Sabuhi Abdullazada from Sumgayit, or Ismayıl Ibrahimli and Jeyhun Nuriyev from Zira in today’s match.
The France vs. Azerbaijan game is scheduled to kick off at 22:45 local time in Baku.
