Qarabag has increased Azerbaijan’s UEFA coefficient.
According to Idman.biz, this was made possible after the Agdam-based club, coached by Gurban Gurbanov, defeated Denmark’s Copenhagen 2–0 at home in the second round of the Champions League group stage.
With this victory, Qarabag added another 0.500 points to the country’s total. Azerbaijan now sits in 25th place with 22.000 points.
Serbia currently holds 24th place with 22.375 points, while Slovakia is in 26th with 21.375 points.
England leads the UEFA rankings with 97.116 points.
