The women's national saber fencing team of Azerbaijan has completed its performance in the stage competition of the World Cup held in Algeria.
Idman.biz reports that the team consisting of Anna Bashta, Sabina Karimova, Palina Kaspiarovich and Valeriya Bolshakova took 9th place in the competition.
Women's saber players, who was defeated by Japan with a score of 36:45 in the match for promotion to the strongest "eight", defeated Romania (45:37), China (45:44) and Poland (45:40) in the matches for the 9th place.
Only Valeriya Bolshakova managed to advance to the "32nd" in the women's individual competition.
