As part of a special social campaign initiated by Leyla Aliyeva—Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder of the IDEA Public Union—bicycles were gifted to children and teenagers living in the regions of Khizi, Guba, Gakh, and Yevlakh.
The initiative was carried out with the support of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation. A total of 200 children and teenagers aged between 6 and 18—50 from each region—received brand-new bicycles along with matching safety gear, Idman.biz reports.
This ongoing initiative aims to help children in rural areas make better use of their free time, promote physical activity and a healthy lifestyle, and raise awareness about the benefits of using bicycles as an environmentally friendly mode of transport.
The young recipients welcomed their gifts with joy and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the organizers for the thoughtful gesture.
