Azerbaijani chess player was the World Champion in Italy

The games of the last round of the World Championship between girls and boys are held in Montesilvano, Italy.

Idman.biz reports that Ayan Allahverdiyeva, became the World Champion among 18-year-old girls by collecting 9.5 points in 11 rounds.

About 1000 chess players from 94 countries take part in the competition.
