Another Azerbaijani boxer has reached the final at the IBA Youth World Championships held in Budva, Montenegro.
According to Idman.biz, Ali Abdullayev (63.5 kg) earned his place in the final by defeating Djamel Djemmal from France with a score of 4:1 in the semifinal.
Meanwhile, Zidan Humbatov (51 kg) and Mahammadali Gasimzade (60 kg) concluded their journey in the semifinals, each securing a bronze medal. Hümbətov lost 1:4 to Justin Moreno (Colombia), and Gasimzade was defeated 0:5 by Platon Kozlov (Russia).
Bilalhabashi Nazarov (48 kg) was the first boxer from the Azerbaijani team to advance to the finals.
