Azerbaijani badminton player Keisha Fatimah Zahra won a gold medal at the "Cameroon International 2023" tournament held in Yaounde, the capital of Cameroon.
Keisha, who started the fight from the 1/8 final stage, defeated the badminton players representing Slovenia, UAE and Italy on the way to the final.
Keisha Fatimah Zahra met Israeli badminton player Ksenia Polikarpova in the final. Playing better than her opponent in both sets, Azerbaijani badminton player won 2:0 (21-14, 21-16) and became the winner of the "International" series tournament, adding 2500 rating points to her account.
