He said that the ultramarathon race was held in Azerbaijan for the first time: "Today's race among men was won by a Turkish citizen. The second place was awarded to a resident of Aghstafa. We have only one motto - "Health". Sport is health, and we always wish the strong to win."
It should be noted that a 100 km ultramarathon run dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijani athletics was held. Uzeyir Soylemez was the winner of the race, which covered 5 circles from the White City Boulevard to the back of the Water Sports Palace, with a score of 7:37.56. The second place was taken by Aga Aliyev.
