The 11th International Olympic Committee's International Athletes' Forum (IAF) held in Lausanne, Switzerland, was concluded today.
According to the information given to Idman.biz by the National Olympic Committee, the forum discussed the upcoming Olympic Games.
There was an extensive exchange of views with the representatives of WADA and the International Testing Agency on the importance of clean sport and the prevention of competition manipulation. Opinions were also heard about the protection and safety of athletes, and the issues of the International Partnership Against Corruption in Sports (IPACS) were touched upon. At the end of the forum, International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach answered the questions of the participants. With this, the 11th International Forum of Athletes was concluded.
Azerbaijan was represented at the International Athletes Forum by the chairman of the Azerbaijan Athletes Commission, the silver medalist of the Rio-2016 Summer Olympic Games and the World Championship, European champion judoka Rustam Orujov.
