The two-time Olympic marathon champion plans marathon run in Antarctica

Kenyan two-time Olympic marathon champion Eliud Kipchoge plans to run a distance in Antarctica, Idman.Biz reports, citing the International Olympic Committee (IOC) press service.

“I will be running in Antarctica. Now I want to do something extreme that can push a person to work hard,” the athlete said.

Kipchoge, 40, is a two-time Olympic marathon champion (2016, 2020), silver medalist at the 2008 Olympics, and bronze medalist at the 2004 Games in the 5,000 meters. He also became world champion in the 5,000 meters in 2003.
