Khankendi - Baku ultra-marathon will be held for the first time

On February 29, the Khankendi-Baku ultra-marathon will start for the first time. was informed about this by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

It was reported that the participants of the ultra-marathon, which will start from the city of Khankendi, will reach the finish line in Baku after covering 380 km.

The competition, which will be jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports with the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation, will be held within the framework of "Sports Week" and "Year of Solidarity for the Green World".

Ultra marathon participants will go to Baku on March 4, crossing the Khankendi - Yevlax (83 km), Yevlax - Ujar (84 km), Ujar - Hajigabul (88 km), Hajigabul - Gobustan (70 km) and Gobustan - Baku (55 km) stages. The winners of each stage will be awarded separately. The overall winners of the ultra-marathon will be awarded the grand prize.

Anyone over the age of 18 who wants to join the ultra-marathon, which will be held with the slogan "Forward proudly", can become a participant of the historical event by registering through the link until 20.02.2024.
