The Baku Championship in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling was held in the Shagan Olympic Sports Complex.
Idman.biz reports that 207 athletes participated in the competition.
In freestyle wrestling, Shahin Mukhtarov (57 kg), Mahir Amiraslanov (61 kg), Seymur Jabrayilov (65 kg), Rubail Ibrahimli (70 kg), Vusal Aliyev (74 kg), Emin Gojayev (79 kg), Sattarkhan Allahverdili (86 kg), Anar Jafarov (92 kg), Javid Sadigov (97 kg) and Khayal Khanmuradov (125 kg) became champions.
In Greco-Roman wrestling, Emin Javadli (55 kg), Huseyn Huseynov (60 kg), Ariz Huseynov (63 kg), Seymur Gasimov (67 kg), Namaz Rustamov (72 kg), Javidan Nehmetov (77 kg), Huseyn Humbatzada (82 kg), Joju Samadov (87 kg), Agil Musayev (97 kg) and Khayal Khanmuradov (130 kg) stepped on the top of the podium.
It should be noted that the competition was a qualifying round for the Azerbaijan Championship, which will be held on December 19-21 at the Baku Sports Palace.
