The Azerbaijani national freestyle wrestling team has started its next training camp.
After completing their training in Quba and taking a short break, the team departed for Batumi, Georgia on June 8, Idman.biz reports.
The national team will train jointly with the teams of Georgia, Austria, Norway, and Ukraine until June 21.
Under the guidance of head coach Khetag Gazyumov, senior coach Jabrayil Hasanov, and coaches Taimuraz Kokoyev and Sharif Sharifov, 19 wrestlers are participating in the training camp. The roster includes Islam Bazarganov (57 kg), Musa Aghayev, Ruslan Abdullayev (both 65 kg), Kanan Heybatov, Ziraddin Bayramov (both 70 kg), Aghanazar Novruzov, Turan Bayramov, Magomed Bashir Khaniev (all 74 kg), Farid Jabbarov, Jabrayil Hajiyev, Sabuhi Amiraslanov (all 79 kg), Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg), Osman Nurmagomedov, Abubakr Abakarov, Sadig Mustafazade (all 92 kg), Magomedkhan Magomedov, Zafar Aliyev (both 97 kg), Giorgi Meshvildishvili and Khetag Karsanov (both 125 kg).
This training camp serves as preparation for the final ranking tournament of the year, which will be held in Hungary from July 17 to 20.
