Khasay Hasanli, who won the silver medal at the U-23 World Championship in wrestling held in Tirana, the capital of Albania, told Idman.biz.
The member of the national team, who performed at 77 kg, explained the reason for the defeat in the final. He said that his inability to perform tricks resulted in the opponent's victory: "My most difficult match was the final match. I could have won. There was also luck factor. Even when I lifted my Romanian opponent in one episode, I couldn't throw him over my head. If I could do it, I would win, I would become a champion. We need to look to the future. My goals are to achieve success in bigger arenas."
It should be noted that Khasay lost to Romanian Alexandrin Gutu in the final with a score of 1:3.
