The World Wrestling Union (UWW) announced a new ranking table.
İdman.biz informs that according to the results of the Asian Games, 5 wrestlers from Azerbaijan were among the leaders in the table of Greco-Roman wrestlers.
The three-time World Champion Eldeniz Azizli maintained his position in 55 kg. He also leads the new list.
Rafig Huseynov (82 kg), who won a gold medal for the second time in the World Championship held in Belgrade, is in the second place in the table. One of the finalists of the World Cup, Murad Mammadov (63 kg) and Hasrat Jafarov (67 kg) were ranked at the same level in their weight classes.
Another silver medalist of the World Championship, Sanan Suleymanov (77 kg), is 4th in the ranking.
