The Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov wrestling tournament among young Greco-Roman wrestlers continues in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
According to Idman.biz, the Azerbaijan team won 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 silver medals.
On the second day of the competition, where 10 countries were represented, the winners were determined in the 55, 63, 72, 82 and 97 kg weight classes. Ruslan Nurullayev (72 kg), Ismayil Rzayev (82 kg) won silver, Huseyin Savadov (55 kg) and Muhammad Shukurzade (63 kg) won bronze medals.
Today, the fight was started in other 5 weights. Faraim Mustafayev (67 kg), Davud Mammadov (77 kg) and Ali Guliyev (87 kg) reached the finals. Joju Samadov (87 kg) won the bronze medal, Tural Ahmadov (60 kg), Tavakgul Haziyev (67 kg), Kanan Abdullazade (77 kg) and Mazaim Mardanov (130 kg) won the right to participate in the consolation match.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan team was represented in the tournament by 17 wrestlers.
