The Greco-Roman wrestling team of Azerbaijan, consisting of youths (U-20), has left for Kazakhstan.
According to the information provided to Idman.biz by the Federation, the team has started a training camp in Shymkent today.
18 wrestlers took part in the preparatory process, which will continue until March 9, under the leadership of senior coach Nurettin Rajabov, coaches Emin Ahmadov and Turaj Huseynli.
The teams of Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia also participate in the meeting, which will include both physical and tactical-technical training.
After completing the preparation process, the team will play in the Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov 2024, which will be held in Astana on March 11-13.
