The athlete, who defeated European Champion Ruslan Abdullayev among 20-year-olds in the final match of the national championship, said that his main advantage was his psychological preparation: "I was very well adjusted to the semi-final match. My main advantage was that I had only one goal going into this meeting. I wanted to become a champion and I did it."
According to the 20-year-old wrestler, this victory will begin his success: "I was treated unfairly in the final match of the European Youth Championship. I faced the same situation in the semi-finals of the World Championship. I was seriously injured in a race. When there is no luck, it does not happen. I believe that I will break the curse with this championship."
