Luis Enrique reacts to PSG's 6-0 Champions League victory over Villarreal

Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique has commented on his team's emphatic 6-0 away victory over Villarreal in Matchday 4 of the UEFA Champions League league phase.

As reported by İdman.Biz, citing UEFA's official website, the Spanish coach stressed that conceding several goals in quick succession can make life extremely difficult for any team.

"I've seen teams score three goals in five minutes. If we had conceded that many goals in such a short period, we would have faced the same difficulties as Villarreal," Enrique said.

Despite PSG's remarkable attacking record of 20 goals in their opening four Champions League matches, the 56-year-old coach insisted that such statistics mean little at this stage of the competition.

"Twenty goals in four matches? It means nothing. There will only be one winner in the final in Madrid, and our goal is to become champions there. In previous seasons, we won the trophy without even finishing in the top eight during the league phase," he added.

PSG have made a perfect start to their Champions League campaign, collecting 12 points from four matches to lead the league phase standings.

Villarreal, meanwhile, sit 29th with just three points after four rounds.
